Fanatics Inc. is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Data Science and Engineering team. You will collaborate closely with engineering, PMs, cross functional business units and address a wide range of challenging problems using techniques from applied statistics, machine learning and/or data mining fields. These data scientists will synthesize and leverage our massive datasets of Website Clickstreams, Customer behaviors, Customers, Inventory to enhance customer engagement, experience online and drive growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a new, multidisciplinary team of creative and passionate individuals destined to change the face of online buying experience of sport fans. We are focused on the company’s agenda, and work on high-impact projects utilizing big data analytics and machine learning to improve end to end customer online experience, including Search, Product targeting, Personalized Contents, Targeting and profiling for marketing channels such as email, social. We’re a lean, flat and experimental team combining science and engineering to identify and inject high-value insights in to e-commerce processes at their point of highest impact. The team works in quick iterations, using the techniques and algorithms best suited for solving the challenging problems of Product Ranking, Recommendation, Personalization, Forecasting, Marketing Channel Optimization What you’ll be doing: You will advocate, evangelize and build data-fuelled products that help our customers improve online experience from finding the right products on website to seeing the right product in email and Facebook newsfeed . You’ll dig in and become an expert on our Sport E-Commence datasets. You will provide insight into leading analytic practices, design and lead iterative learning and development cycles, and ultimately produce new and creative analytic solutions that will become part of our core deliverables. You will work with cross-functional team members to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights across a variety of core business areas. You will lead applied analytics initiatives that are leveraged across the breadth of our solutions for Sport E-Commence. You will research, design, implement and validate cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes. As our data scientist, you will provide expertise on mathematical concepts for the broader applied analytics team and inspire the adoption of advanced analytics and data science across the entire breadth of our organization.Please no third party candidates or recruiters.
