Plan Ahead with the ODSC Europe 2021 Preliminary Schedule

The ODSC Europe 2021 Virtual Conference is coming up this June 8-10 and we’ve announced the preliminary schedule. Here are a few of the training sessions, workshops, talks, and events that we’re excited about.

Tuesday, June 8th

The theme of day 1 of ODSC Europe 2021 is hands-on training sessions and workshops. As part of the 3-day ODSC Kickstart Bootcamp program, you can choose between 3 training sessions in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, with a focus on introductory-level content. Some options include “Introduction to Data Science” and “Bayesian Data Science: Probabilistic Programming.”

As for extra events, there will be multiple “Meet the Speaker” sessions and the Investor Reverse Pitch. Stay tuned for more information on these events. The co-located event, the Virtual AI Expo, will feature partner demo talks all day.

Wednesday, June 9th

Day two branches out a bit more. There are still morning and afternoon training and workshop sessions, but more intermediate levels. Some talks include “Tutorial on Automated Machine Learning” and “PyTorch 101: Building A Model Step-by-Step.” General talks will also start today, with 8 options in the morning and 8 in the afternoon. These range from 60-90 minutes each, and range from beginner to advanced across all focus areas.

AI Expo demo sessions continue on this day as well. For extra events, there will be a virtual book signing, a virtual networking session, and the special event “Learning from Failure.” More details to come in the coming weeks.

Thursday, June 10th

The last day of ODSC Europe 2021 comes with more training sessions, though this time we’re getting advanced. Some highlighted sessions include “Rule Induction and Reasoning in Knowledge Graphs” and “Responsible Data Science Using Bias-Dashboards.” There will also be 8 general talks in the morning and 8 in the afternoon as well.

The Ai+ Career Services Lab & Expo also takes place on Thursday.
