After a year and a half of virtual conferences, ODSC will be returning to an in-person conference for ODSC West this November 16th-18th. We cannot wait to reconnect with our friends and colleagues from across the country, and catch up on how you all have been doing over the past year. To enable more people to attend the conference safely, ODSC West 2021 will be a hybrid event: part in-person, part virtual.
Like previous conferences, ODSC West will be held in San Francisco, near the innovative companies and startups driving the future of the industry, featuring both an AI Expo and a Career Fair. Unlike past years, attendance will be limited and based on local COVID-19 protocols. Nevertheless, ODSC West 2021 will offer the opportunity to reconnect and share ideas with friends and colleagues whom you might have not seen for a year or more, and to recapture a little piece of normality from life before the pandemic.
Additionally, all in-person attendees will have access to the virtual sessions.
The virtual component will feature training sessions, workshops, talks, and a kickstart bootcamp led by some of the best and brightest minds in data science and AI. You’ll be able to connect from wherever you are to learn about the latest advances in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, transfer learning, speech recognition, and much, much more.
Although we do not have our speaker lineup confirmed just yet, you can be sure ODSC’s speakers will represent the core practitioners and innovators in data science and AI. Past expert speakers include
- Jeannette M. Wing, PhD | Avanessians Director of the Data Science Institute | Columbia University
- Oren Etzioni, PhD | CEO | Allen Institute for AI
- Lisa Amini, PhD | Director | IBM Research
- Yashesh A. Shroff, PhD | Lead Strategy Planner for AI Ecosystem | Intel
Register now to get your in-person pass for ODSC West 2021 before they are gone AND to save 75%. See you soon!
The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is our highest priority. We will follow all city, state, and federal COVID-19 guidelines for ODSC West 2021.
