Lutz Hamel, PhD, is the founder and CEO of kinaML, a software consulting company focused on high-performance, cutting-edge machine/deep learning. Lutz is a veteran software professional, computer scientist, and author with more than 30 years experience. In addition to 60+ publications in machine learning, data mining, and programming languages he is the author of the well-received book "Knowledge Discovery with Support Vector Machines" published by Wiley. Lutz has been involved with high-performance machine learning tools since the 1990s when he worked on Thinking Machines ' data mining tool suite.
