My name's Valentino. I'm a Data Scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), using machine learning, web development, and effective communication to improve the laboratory's operational efficiency. My work currently revolves around tool building, unsupervised learning, and graph networks. I aim to improve the effectiveness in which JPL conducts missions focused on Earth or Solar System exploration in my own small way.
I also do consulting work for firms interested in using data science and machine learning for their products, services, or to guide strategy. Feel free to reach out.
When I'm not at JPL or doing consulting work, I enjoy hiking, working on research and contributing to open-source projects such as scikit-learn, cooking (but not always), or volunteering with STEAM:CODERS. Gardening, hiking and working with Raspberry Pis and Arduinos, and spending time with my dog are fun pastimes, too.
